Throughout Juan's adventure, he may happen upon Orbs. These are usually only accessible through extremely difficult platforming or combat challenges. There are 7 Orbs total, and only 6 can be obtained before defeating the final boss. Each Orb nets you a chunk of Luchador Mask.
Upon completion of the Luchador Mask, a message pops up saying, 'You feel lighter.' This means that when you use Pollo Power you will be able to fly anywhere on a map by pressing X repeatedly. This is great for achieving 100% without having to do a lot of crazy platforming.
Note: As of revision 79870 for Steam, you receive the special flight message and ability upon earning all of the masks except the Sixth Orb. This allows you to effectively bypass nearly all the platforming sections in Sierra Morena and The Great Temple.
They are found through doors like this, except instead of boards, a light is coming from it.
The last Orb is collected upon defeating the Final Boss. The other 5 are found in special areas throughout the game. You may want to wait until your second playthrough to collect these, as earning all of them will give you an alternate ending.
Most of these are not reachable until you learn the Goat Fly Technique, so do not worry about them until then.
The First Orb available is found at the bottom of Juan's house in the Agave Fields. You must go to the bottom level and activate your Pollo Power. From there you must switch between the two realms until you get into a secret room on the right side.
The Second Orb is located in the Caverna de Pollo. The Dashing Derpderp technique is required to reach it. You must defeat three gauntlet events. Each gauntlet contaings 10 arenas, which get progressively harder as they go. At the end of the last challenge, you will be awarded with the Second Orb.
The Third Orb can be obtained in the Tree Tops area. The Goat Fly ability is needed for this Orb. This section is accessed from the Tule Tree area. You may have noticed a blue brick you weren't able to break as you left this area the first time. Run up the wall here to reach the Tree Tops.
This is perhaps the hardest section of the game as it requires some intense platforming to get to the top. After every chunk of platforming, you will reach some solid platforms to rest and fall back to should you fall. Good luck, this will test your platforming skills as well as your patience.
The Fourth is found in Forest de Chivo. The Goat Fly Technique is necessary to reach it. You may have noticed a hill that you can get under by activating Pollo Power. There is a Skull Lever there.
Turn the lever and run out to the left. Run to the top of the hill, stick to the highest wall and Goat Fly all the way to the left. If you've spaced it right, you should hit against a floating platform with spikes. If you were quick enough, you will drop through the hole directly beneath you. Go through the portal to claim your prize.
The Fifth Orb is in Sierra Morena. Near the entrance, there's an area with a large pit. Continue into a room filled with cacti. Line up your Goat Fly with the opening on the right and shoot through. You will land on a platform complete with door.
This is the second most difficult platforming challenge of the game. You must run across disappearing platforms for three rooms.
SIXTH orb
the Sixth Orb is in El Infireno. to get it all you need to do is get 10 gold medals in the DA challenges (get 10 SILVER medals first to get the Pollo Bombo ability to get access to the last 5 challenges.) you will need all the collectable powers (and a large amount of skill) to get enough gold medals to enter the devils office, where you will find the door to chac mool's sixth orb.
